There are no words to describe how thankful I am as a mom with Rocky Mountain Pediatric Endocrinology. Dr. Mako is incredible. My son was really short, and of course that was affecting his confidence. With the results of his exam we realize his growth hormone wasn’t working right. And Mako really give us the treatment for it. Wow he is the tallest of the house now. They were really careful with everything and put attention to all details. Giving us answers to all our doubts. I’m incredible thankful with Dr. Mako I don’t know if I hug her enough for the amazing job she did with my son.

Our family will always be grateful to this endocrinology clinic. From the very first visit, the doctors, nurses, and staff treated us with kindness, compassion, and genuine care. They took the time to listen, answered every question, and were always incredibly responsive whenever we needed help. Because of their expertise, my son was diagnosed and started on the right growth hormone treatment. Before that, he struggled with his confidence and was often teased at school, being called names because of his size. It was heartbreaking to watch. When my son was around 8 years old, he appeared to fall off his growth curve. Although our pediatrician was not overly concerned, we decided to schedule an evaluation with RMPE to explore it further. It was reassuring to know that objective, conclusive testing—rather than guesswork—would determine whether growth hormone treatment was medically necessary. The team at RMPE was professional, thorough, and took the time to answer all of our questions. They gave us confidence that we were making an informed decision based on clear medical evidence. Ultimately, the testing showed that growth hormone therapy would be important for helping our son reach his full growth potential. After eight years of treatment, our son reached a height of 5’10”. Without this intervention, it was estimated that he may not have grown beyond 5’4”. We are incredibly grateful to the doctors and staff at RMPE for their guidance and care in helping us make the right decision for our son.

Mako is truly exceptional! From the moment we met her we knew we were in good hands. Mako has been an integral part of treating my son’s thyroid condition since he was born.
