Welcome to Rocky Mountain Pediatric Endocrinology

Pediatric endocrinology is a specialty that focuses on hormone disorders in children. We treat all endocrine conditions including disorders of growth, puberty, diabetes, thyroid gland, adrenal gland, and calcium. We are also extensively involved in clinical research including an epidemiologic study in type 1 diabetes, phase 2 and phase 3 trials in long-acting growth hormone therapy, phase 4 trials in daily growth hormone therapy, and a phase 4 trial in the metabolic bone disease hypophosphatasia.

We are clinical preceptors for physician assistant students at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and Mako Sather, CPNP also serves as medical staff for the annual diabetes summer camp. Partnering with the Colorado Department of Public Health, RMPE provides the initial consultation for all babies in Colorado and Wyoming with an abnormal newborn screen in congenital hypothyroidism. We offer Saturday hours, and we also speak Spanish, German, Japanese, and Greek.

Dr. Maniatis was voted to 5280 Magazine’s Top Doctor list for pediatric endocrinology in 2016 and 2017.  Click here to view.
